Little Steps Charity House Auction

We’re edging closer to the finish line at the Little Steps House, with some key milestones ticked off this week. Plumbing and electrical fit outs are now complete, marking a big step forward inside the home. Floor coverings are next on the list, with floating floors scheduled to be installed this week. Next week is shaping up to be a big one. Carpet installation is booked for Monday, and once that’s done, attention will shift outside with the driveway scheduled to be poured next Friday. With each stage completed, we’re getting closer to preparing the Little Steps House for auction, supporting The Smith Family, Variety the Children’s Charity and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

We’re back on site after the Christmas break and ready to get stuck into the year ahead at the Little Steps House. There’s plenty happening as we move into the final stages of the build and start preparing for the upcoming auction. Work is continuing steadily on the Little Steps House, with both external painting and plastering now underway. These stages are a big step forward, helping transform the structure into a home and setting the scene for the internal finishes to follow. There are no suppliers to acknowledge this week, however we’d like to thank the contractors on site: Oscar Paintings and their supply partners – Painting With Christmas approaching, the team will be taking a short break over the holiday period and will be back on site in the new year to continue pushing the project toward completion. We appreciate everyone’s continued effort and support as the Little Steps House moves closer to auction day, raising funds for Variety the Children’s Charity, The Smith Family, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The Little Steps House project continues to roll along, with plenty of visible progress happening on site this week. Windows and external doors have now been installed, and external cladding is well underway, with completion expected on Thursday, 11th of December 2025. External painting is set to kick off on Friday, 12th of December 2025, followed closely by plastering, which is also scheduled to begin on Friday, 12th of December 2025. Rough-in trades are currently on site, keeping things moving smoothly behind the scenes. The Charity House is moving ahead quickly, and each week the progress is becoming more and more noticeable.
